From the collection "The antiquities de 'contours or Rome (\.)", Rome, 1826 by L. Rossini, an artist's proof with sharp details, representing Adrian Villa in Tivoli. Signed on plate "Rossini dis. and inc. " lower-left corner, with indication or date and place "Rome 1825". Good conditions, except some light ink stains. Image Dimensions: 40 x 52 cm Luigi Rossini (1790-1857) Like Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Luigi Rossini was an architect and his etchings have the same tendency to emphasize the massive constructions or the Ancient Rome. He Became famous thanks to His etchings representing Roman landscapes and antique monuments. Among which "The antiquities de 'contours or Rome that is the most famous cities or Lazio. Tivoli, Albano, Castel Gandolfo, Palestrina, Tusculum, Cora and Ferentino ", a collection or 72 plates published in Rome, 1826. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
