This is an elegant pair of vintage cloisonne enamel deer figurines, featuring one standing stag and one reclining doe. The bodies are richly decorated with a deep purple-blue enamel, covered in intricate multicolored floral scrollwork and stylized cloud patterns.
Both figures feature gilded gold-tone antlers, heads, hooves, and decorative saddle blankets cast onto their backs. The gilded finish shows a natural aged patina that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant enamel. In many traditions, deer symbolize longevity, grace, and good fortune. This detailed pair makes a lovely decorative accent for a mantel, console table, or bookshelf.
