Each of the domed 15k gold links are handmade and embossed with a repeating leaf-like circular pattern that goes around the entire link. The chain is in excellent condition with every link beautifully preserved. The barrel clasp is a nice feature, in a shape reminiscent of a bee hive, with a tongue-in-groove clasp function. When looked at closely, you can see the file marks from its handmade construction.

The chain has a beautiful long length of 30.25”. The width of the links are 5/16”. It weighs 33.1 grams. Unmarked, as gold was not marked in the Georgian era. It was X-ray tested as 15k. See less
