The composition features an elegant bouquet of colourful flowers arranged in a dark vase decorated with ornamental masks, set within an arched architectural niche. A landscape unfolds in the background, while shells and small naturalistic details on the ledge add further decorative interest. The painting reflects the tradition of early 17th-century Dutch and Flemish floral still-life painting, characterised by botanical detail and ornamental richness.

The painting is signed “T.G.” at the lower left, a monogram that has not yet been attributed to an identified artist. It is presented in a refined Salvator Rosa frame with an ebony-lacquered finish, creating an elegant contrast with the luminous colours of the composition.

The artwork is in very good condition and retains a natural surface patina. An appealing decorative piece of particular interest to collectors and enthusiasts of traditional floral still-life painting.
