This is a charming vintage cloisonne enamel trinket box, beautifully decorated with a classic floral motif. The domed lid features a large, vibrant pink peony blossom alongside a smaller blue flower and lush green leaves, all set against a bright yellow background filled with swirling, stylized cloud patterns.
The box is constructed from enamel over metal, with fine brass wirework outlining the intricate details. The base and the interior of the lid are finished in a striking, smooth turquoise blue enamel. The piece is framed by a simple brass rim at the base and where the lid meets the body.
