Hand-signed … Read more Faun is an original artwork realized in Italy by Guelfo Bianchini (Ancona, 1937) in 1959. Original Etching on paper. Hand-signed and dated in pencil by the artist on the lower right corner: Guelfo 59. On the lower left corner: Artist proof. Signed on plate on the right corner: Guelfo Title hand-written in pencil on the lower left corner: Fauno di Piazza Navona Good conditions. The work has been realized by the Italian artist Guelfo Bianchini (Ancona 1937). Born in Fabriano in 1937, he lives and works in Rome, where he did his artistic studies. He has participated in international shows and collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Bartolini, De Chirico, Cocteau, Oskar Kokoschka and Marc Chagall. After a first experience in ''living drawing'' and in ''advertising drawing'' he devoted himself only to painting which he discovered as an autodidact. In 1960 he took interest in the human figure especially in the woman one, and he went on developing it for some years. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
