Important pewter soliflore of the Art Nouveau period signed P.Jean.
This vase with curved contours and a strongly pronounced elliptical body has a flared spout and movement from which emerges streams of water on the sides.
The sides of this elegant vase are carved with lilies, daffodils and foliage in perfect relief.
Clinging to a stem, a young girl rests leaning forward on the wide body of the vase. She holds a water lily in her left hand and looks at it intently.
Lightly dressed in a drape, the graceful young lady reveals a childlike face surrounded by soft hair held in a bun.
Poetic and enchanting, this unique piece will delight lovers of delicate and romantic decorations.
