The dark marble has stunning grey and white inclusions and is in good condition with minimal surface scratches and etching. Three mahogany legs support the table top and recall Greek columns with ormolu capitals and cushions, in keeping with the Empire style’s preference for classical imagery and minimal decoration. The table sits on a tricorn plinth base atop rounded feet. This low gueridon would be perfect for use as a side table anywhere in your home. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
