Measuring 8'7'' x 11'10'', it is a 9x12 hand knotted Ziegler rug.

The flowing palmettes and vines of Ziegler rugs trace back to the court carpets of Persia, simplified and enlarged for a softer look. This rug's tan field and brown border give it a crisp and rhythmic look. It is hand knotted in Pakistan by skilled artisans from hand-spun local and fine merino wool with the Turkish double knot. A gentle abrash adds depth, and the pile is trimmed, stone-washed and sun-dried for a natural sheen and a soft feel underfoot.

It is sized just right for a family room, an open-plan living area, a formal sitting room or a home library. Its rhythmic rows suit transitional, farmhouse and eclectic rooms.
