Cut in silhouette within a gently curved rectangular frame, the figures show clean definition in the horses' galloping strides, the riders' kit, and the tufts of grass along the lower border. The lower third of each plaque is formed as a smooth, unengraved silver banner, leaving clear space should a collector wish to add spirits names. Two sturdy silver loops are soldered to the top rim, securing classic trace-link suspension chains designed to hang neatly over the neck of a wine carafe, spirit decanter, or tantalus bottle. Crafted in solid sterling silver, the three tags have a combined weight of 44.51 grams and each measures 4.1 cm high by 5.2 cm wide. The reverse of each plaque is stamped with clear British hallmarks struck in Birmingham in 1987, including the maker's initials, the anchor town mark, the lion passant standard mark, and the date letter 'N'. These pieces remain completely intact with all openwork elements, soldered jump rings, and chain links fully sound. Unpolished for some time, they exhibit heavy surface tarnishing, toning, and fine handling marks throughout, which can be polished bright or left with their current aged character according to preference.
