Each handle is sculpted in the form of a phoenix, terminating in an arched neck, crested head, and bright red beak. The cream-coloured handles are decorated with inset rosettes in vibrant red and cobalt blue, surrounded by tiny inlaid metal dots. This distinctive inlay technique draws on long-standing cutlery traditions associated with the haddad workshops in south lebanon, combining figural carving with practical tableware design. Each piece features a polished stainless steel bowl, clearly stamped on the reverse with the mark 's&a. Haddad stainless steel'. The six spoons each measure approximately 15.5 cm in length with a bowl width of 2.6 cm, making them ideal for dessert, fruit, or tea service. The set is preserved in its original presentation case lined in midnight blue velvet with individual fitted recesses. Bound in navy textured leatherette, the case features decorative brass-tone corner protectors and twin front clasps. An original printed care guide and a gilt maker's label featuring the lebanese cedar tree are included inside. Produced during the late 20th century, the set remains in clean, well-preserved order. The fitted case measures 5 cm high by 30 cm wide and 18 cm deep. See less
