This striking piece exemplifies the height of Italian post-war glassmaking, showcasing Poli’s signature geometric precision and master mastery of color layer techniques. Crafted using the classic Sommerso ("submerged") technique, the vase features a rich ruby red core encased within a warm amber-yellow layer, all seamlessly enclosed in a thick, crystal-clear glass outer shell. The exterior has been meticulously hand-cut and faceted into a diamond/prism form, creating dramatic refraction and displaying brilliant optical reflections from every angle.
