These nightstands are distinguished by a majestic interplay of veneers: the front doors and upper drawers are clad in fine walnut burl (characterized by its characteristic, rich, wavy "bird's eye" grain), framed along the curved sides and sides by a veneer banding with pronounced horizontal grain.

Each piece features an upper drawer and a door compartment below, enhanced by splendid vintage handles shaped in gold and ivory Bakelite with brass finishes.

The sturdy structure resting on double faceted feet lends a compact design and great sculptural appeal.

The nightstands have been polished with oil and shellac and show normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. See less
