Pair of glazed ceramic wall sconces in a shell shape, signed robert de schuytener, "trianon" model. 1980s.
the fluting radiates from a silver-plated metal cabochon at the bottom to a scalloped edge. The glaze imitates malachite: a deep bottle green, marbled with light green, and very glossy. Its nuances vary depending on the room's lighting.
the open-topped bowl provides indirect lighting that is easy on the eyes. E27 socket, for a bulb up to 45 mm in diameter.
a white plate on the back allows for wall mounting adjustment. Original labels: "trianon" model, reference 753871, and assembler no. 10.
both sconces are identical and in the same impeccable condition. The glaze is free of chips or cracks. The wiring is functional. Bulbs not included.
