this beautifully coordinated service comprises six wine goblets, six highball glasses, six small liqueur or cordial cups, and six demitasse coffee cups with six matching saucers, making a complete service of 30 individual pieces, including the saucers.

each piece features a rich ruby-red crystal body adorned with elaborate neoclassical garlands of laurel swags, ribbons and tassels. Broad gilded rims complement the intricate decoration, while clear crystal stems, pedestal bases and saucers provide an elegant contrast to the intense ruby colouring.

the demitasse cups are further distinguished by their gold-coloured handles and matching clear saucers with finely gilded rims. The wine goblets feature sculptural clear stems and circular feet, while the highball glasses have exceptionally substantial weighted bases, each weighing approximately 480 grams.

the lavish combination of deep ruby-red crystal, clear glass and extensive gilding gives the collection a distinctive hollywood regency character, inspired by classical italian and french decorative arts. Although the demitasse cups no longer retain their original labels, their matching materials and distinctive decorative pattern support their attribution to the same interglass service.

the survival of so many original labels, together with the exceptionally well-preserved gilding, suggests that the collection has received very limited use.
