This last one has a scalloped top and is composed of 4 small drawers carved with leaves and flowers opening with a chiseled brass knob.
On the desk, a sliding shelf can be pulled out to enlarge the work surface. This one is lined in its center with a beautiful brown leather with central vignette and golden frieze.
Underneath, a large drawer shaped in relief is embellished with a nicely worked key and an original lock. It is framed with engraved stars in its corners.
The whole is supported by four soberly turned feet.
Delightful, this small child's desk will seduce you by its rarity and its originality.
