The model was designed in 2002, the two examples offered here were made in 2005. Both are upholstered in white leather in the 'Pelle bianco puro' finish with decorative topstitching that follows the contour of the shell. The seat shell is made of cold-formed polyurethane foam and carries the organic form of the armchair. The base and shaft in powder-coated steel are square and set a formal contrast to the soft shell. Fully swivelling and fitted with a high back, the Moroso swivel armchair is suited to long periods of sitting. At 100 × 70 × 103 cm it is conceived on a generous scale. In a living room or a representative reception area, the white Fjord armchair sets a clear focal point. As a pair, both chairs can be arranged as a conversation group or as a symmetrical counterpart to a lounge table. 'MOROSO' manufacturer labels are present on the underside. Minor scratches on the base are documented, the overall condition is very good. See less
