The Artist's House is an original drawing in China ink on paper realized by Auguste François-Marie Gorguet ( 1862-1927) Hand-signed on the lower right in pencil. The state of preservation is very good, Passepartout is aged with some ripping. Applied on a cardboard Passepartout: 45 x33 cm. The artwork represents a beautiful house. It is characterized by a well-balanced composition and depicting details perfectly, a dreamy-like house, resembling of the fairy tale houses. Auguste François-Marie Gorguet (Paris, September 27, 1862 - Paris, April 29, 1927) was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
