Michel Ciry was a French painter born in 1919 from La Baule, France. He was a student at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris from 1934 to 1937. He was appointed a member of the Society of French Painters-Engravers in 1941. He worked through painting and sculptures and he used many different mediums such as oil paint on canvas, prints, watercolor, and ink and was predominantly inspired by the 1930s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
