Green-toned leaves, delicate bands, and dotted accents complement the floral design. The sculptural Jack-in-the-Pulpit opening rises asymmetrically like a tulip, revealing a contrasting white interior.

The vase was decorated by Cathryn “Cathy” D. Mackey and bears a hand-painted inscription on the underside. Mackey worked for Fenton during several periods between 1978 and 1996; Fenton’s decorator reference list also records an employment date in 2000. Those dates provide background on the decorator but do not establish when this particular vase was made.

Its saturated color, hand-painted floral details, and expressive silhouette make it a lovely accent for a mantel, bookshelf, or display cabinet—and a distinctive addition to a collection of Fenton art glass.
