This miniature studio art glass vase is identified as the work of Lucerne Valley-based American glass artist Jon Bush. Flowing ribbons of blue, pale green, and darker glass move through its rounded form, while the softly shimmering top and clear base add depth to the design.
Compact and sculptural, it makes a striking statement piece in a curio cabinet or a collection of studio glass. It could also be displayed on a desk as a decorative paperweight. The narrow opening accommodates a small stem.
The underside is signed and appears to be dated 1985.
Condition: Excellent condition with a few very small flaky-looking spots present on the underside near the signature, as shown in the photos.
Approximate dimensions: 2½ inches high × 2 inches in diameter.
