The cabinet has been repainted a vibrant red-orange lacquer finish, distressed over time to reveal darker undertones and areas of exposed wood. Three upper drawers sit above four paneled doors, all fitted with simple traditional metal ring pulls. The clean architectural form allows the richly layered painted surface to become the defining feature of the piece.

The combination of drawers and enclosed cabinet space provides generous storage, while the long top offers ample room for lamps, pottery, artwork, or collected objects. Its shallow depth makes it particularly versatile as a dining room buffet or sideboard, an entry cabinet, or storage in a living room. The warm, time-worn painted surface brings a strong pop of color and character to Santa Fe, boho chic, farmhouse, wabi-sabi, mountain modern, or contemporary interiors.
