The broad rectangular plank top rests on straight legs joined by traditional stretchers, creating a simple, balanced silhouette characteristic of Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have softened the elm to a warm, naturally weathered finish with visible grain, worn edges, subtle markings, and an authentic aged patina.

Its generous tabletop and low profile make this an easy, versatile piece for a living room or sitting area. The clean architectural form pairs beautifully with upholstered seating while adding the warmth and texture of aged wood. Its restrained design works naturally in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
