Measuring 8'8'' x 11'4'', it is a 9x11 hand knotted Ziegler rug.

Peshawar rugs, a modern branch of the Ziegler family, are woven to look softly aged from the day they are finished. Its gold field paired with a blue border gives it a light and open character. It is hand knotted in Pakistan with the Turkish double knot, using hand-spun wool with a long staple and high lanolin content. Stone-washing and sun-drying soften the pile and give it a natural sheen and a softly aged, antique look.

It is sized just right for a sunroom, a lake or beach house living room, a living room seating group or a dining room under a table for six to eight. Its airy design suits transitional, cottage, Scandinavian and modern farmhouse rooms.
