A sculptural ceramic vase by Ingeborg Zenker, made in 1991 at the Zenker–Karthausen studio in Solingen, Germany, which she operated with Gerburg Karthausen. Its compact cuboid body combines stepped geometric reliefs with a small rectangular opening. A textured turquoise and blue-green glaze accentuates the relief through subtle tonal variations, while its weight of approximately 2.5 kg gives the vessel a substantial presence.
