The frame is made of solid walnut with turned finials, and the seat and back are suspended by a single, thick piece of high-quality black leather, studded to the arms, seat, and upper part of the back.

Paco Muñoz collaborated with the Darro group in the late 1950s and 60s, fusing the tradition of Castilian furniture with the avant-garde of modern design. This collaboration resulted in pieces like the one presented here, a reinterpretation of the Spanish "frailero" (a type of Spanish armchair).

Original condition, very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
