A 19th-century cast bronze sculpture of a seated warrior in classical-style dress, "Laurent de Medici" after Michelangelo and signed “Michel-Ange” on the side of the seat. The figure wears a crested helmet, fitted armor and a pleated skirt, with one hand supporting his head in a contemplative pose. A draped element descends behind the figure, which rests on an integral rectangular base. The brown patina has lighter highlights across the raised details. The signature is recorded as an inscription, not an attribution to Michelangelo.
