Set of 4 Antique Regency-Style Hand-Cut Glass Pedestal Tazzas, Diamond Pattern, 6"
Description:
A matched set of four 19th-century English or Irish hand-blown and hand-cut glass tazzas, usable as open compotes or sweetmeat dishes. Each shallow bowl is cut with a band of large faceted diamonds and a finely notched rim, with a cut star in the center. A diamond-cut collar leads into a knopped stem and a thick, beveled square foot. The glass is heavy, clear, and made without mold seams.
They work for nuts, candy, or caviar, or as risers on a mantel, sideboard, or bar cart. Four matching pieces also let you stagger heights on a buffet.
