An oversized Hudson River School oil on canvas landscape, circa 1890, depicting a winding stream bordered by meadow and trees beneath a cloud-filled sky. Autumnal foliage anchors the right side of the composition, while distant buildings and hills extend the view toward the horizon. The painting is set in a gilt-finish molded wood frame. A dark signature or inscription appears at the lower right but is only partially legible; no artist attribution is made from the mark.
