Produced by Castleford (Yorkshire) and dating to the early 1800s (Mark dates them to about 1810) based on the impressed maker's mark, these substantial candlesticks feature beautifully modeled capitals, fluted shafts, and architectural square bases. The neoclassical form gives them remarkable presence, whether displayed on a mantel, dining table, or library. Marked on the underside. See less
