An antique oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a broad, tiered waterfall, Hudson River School, circa 1890. The composition places the falls between rocky banks and dense trees, with a pale sky above and dark water in the foreground. A rustic staircase is placed along the left bank, adding a small architectural detail to the landscape. The painting is presented in an ornate gold-tone frame with a repeated leaf-like border. Its waterfall subject, wooded setting, and emphasis on natural scenery are characteristic of the Hudson River School landscape tradition. Offered as a framed painting.
