This is a true Parisian beauty queen, superb quality late 19th / early 20th century example, featuring a two door cabinet on the bottom, leading up to two graduating display shelves above. Cabinet is done in kingwood, further adorned with superb quality gilt bronze mounts and a pair of oval Sevres porcelain plaques (one on each door). Each Serves plaques features a different belle epoque style hand painted angels / putti / cherubs scene, each having the surrounding bronze mount making it a picture in a frame. Doors have their original antique lock and key. This beauty has phenomenal looks, and is out of the way in the room corner that is hard to put to use. Condition is good, shows light age / use wear - please see photos. Large and impressive size etagere, great to fit anywhere at 37" height, 13.5" widest point across the front, and the sides are 12.5" deep running from each corner. Useful gem that will mesh with any traditional or vintage mid-century modern setting! See less
