WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LOOK!!
Absolutely gorgeous, Stunning, beautiful set of eight high-end dining chairs, consisting of six side chairs by Council Craftsmen and two upholstered armchairs by Southwood Hickory. Both are respected American furniture makers known for their fine craftsmanship and traditional designs.
The six Council Craftsmen side chairs feature richly figured reddish-brown wood, elegant carved shell and scroll details, graceful shaped backs, and cabriole legs with decorative carving. The seats are upholstered in a lovely turquoise fabric with a subtle woven pattern.
The two Southwood Hickory armchairs complement the side chairs beautifully, featuring tall, upholstered backs, generously padded seats, gracefully curved wooden arms, and carved cabriole legs. Their soft pastel-striped upholstery provides a pleasing contrast to the turquoise seats of the side chairs.
Although made by two different manufacturers, the chairs coordinate exceptionally well and make an attractive dining set. The combination of carved woodwork, quality construction, and comfortable upholstery gives the set a refined, traditional appearance.
These are substantial, well-made chairs from two highly regarded furniture manufacturers, ideal for a formal dining room or an elegant traditional interior.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with normal signs of age and use, including some surface wear and minor marks to the wood. Upholstery is as pictured. Please review all photographs for condition details.
Set includes: Six Council Craftsmen side chairs and two Southwood Hickory armchairs. Sold together as a set of eight.
