Individually refinished by hand, the cabinet features a beautifully layered palette of soft, weathered green with delicate crackling, translucent glazes, hand-applied gold leaf, shellac, waxes, and carefully placed distressing. Traditional decorative painting techniques create a richly aged patina, revealing subtle variations in color, texture, and depth throughout. The result is the character and visual complexity of a cherished European-inspired antique, with no two surfaces exactly alike.

Original architectural details have been preserved, including the decorative fretwork, graceful turned legs, carved ornamentation, and original castor wheels. Delicate floral artwork adorns the raised door panels, bringing a romantic, collected-over-time quality to the design. Handcrafted carved appliqués were created from a custom mold made from an original decorative element, restoring visual balance while honoring the cabinet's original character. A petite ceramic knob completes the look.

Behind the glass door, the softly aged white interior offers versatile display and storage. Two removable shelves, each featuring a plate rail, provide flexibility for displaying ironstone, pottery, books, linens, treasured collections, or seasonal décor.

Beautifully suited to a French country kitchen, dining room, entryway, bedroom, or living space, this cabinet offers both practical storage and the presence of a distinctive statement piece.

A one-of-a-kind work of functional art, individually refinished and embellished by hand. See less
