Rare vintage sculptural salt and pepper shaker set by Vermont metalsmith Bruce R. MacDonald / BRM Studio.
A wonderfully whimsical postmodern design featuring tall etched glass cylinders with contrasting gold and silver metal bases and tops, finished with sculptural chrome stems and gold ball accents. Each shaker has a different geometric form, giving the pair a playful Memphis-inspired look.
Both pieces are signed “BRM” on the underside.
Approx. dimensions:
• Height: 8" - 9"
• Base diameter: approx. 1.5"
• Sold as a set of 2
A really unusual, functional piece of postmodern design that also looks great displayed as a sculptural object.
