A handsome partners desk by Maitland-Smith, featuring a rectangular leather-inset writing surface above two pedestal supports with richly figured mahogany veneers, carved decorative details, and brass drawer pulls. Designed for placement in the center of a room, the desk features functional drawers accessible from both sides, with one bank of drawers opening on each side to accommodate two partners. The opposing drawer fronts are faux, maintaining a symmetrical appearance from either side. Raised on decorative brass-mounted feet. If this desk is only needed for one person the base can be turned around leaving all drawers to open on one side.
