Description
Make a statement with this Rococo style settee, a sculptural accent piece that looks as good from the back as it does from the front. The hand-carved frame is finished in warm cream with a distressed white wash and hand-applied gold leaf highlights. An open-work crest of climbing roses and flowing foliage tops a low back panel, flanked by dramatic scrolled arm supports carved with floral clusters. The curved, deeply button-tufted seat is upholstered in rich golden yellow velvet and finished with braided gold gimp trim. Carved acanthus leaf details run along the apron and down the cabriole legs, which end in scrolled feet with gilded accents.
