An antique square mirror featuring a wooden frame with a trompe l’oeil faux burlwood walnut woodgrain finish in warm amber, chestnut, and deep brown tones. Swirling grain patterns evoke richly figured wood, while the restrained molding provides a simple architectural border.
Beveled mirror glass displays extensive foxing, scattered silvering loss, and a softly clouded reflection, lending depth and atmospheric character. Its compact scale makes it well suited to a gallery wall, a small entryway, or a layered arrangement above a chest.
