The tables feature square panelled tops framed by broad borders with softly rounded edges, resting above molded rails and gently shaped aprons. The aprons continue around the sides, creating a balanced architectural profile from every angle.

Each piece is raised on four substantial legs with softly rounded edges and subtly shaped feet. The restrained curves of the aprons and legs give the pair an elegant silhouette without excessive ornamentation, allowing the rich character of the wood to take center stage. The surfaces display a deep warm brown coloration with visible grain, tonal variation and a naturally developed patina.

Their compact proportions make these pieces particularly versatile. They could be used as side or end tables beside a sofa or chair, as low occasional tables, or in their traditional role as stools. Displayed together, they also make an attractive symmetrical pairing on either side of a console, fireplace or seating arrangement.

The surfaces show the irregularities and wear expected from age and use, contributing to their authentic antique character. See less
