A beautifully simple vintage Chinese tea table crafted from solid elmwood, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The square top rests on slender straight legs joined by traditional horizontal stretchers, creating a clean, open silhouette. Generations of use have softened the elm to a warm, weathered finish, highlighting the natural grain, worn edges, old joinery, and subtle surface variations that give the piece its authentic character.
Traditionally used as a tea table, its taller profile and compact square form make it especially versatile today. It works beautifully as a side table, small coffee table, bedside table, or display table for pottery, books, and collected objects. Its understated form and naturally aged surface complement Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
