Fabulous deep brick-red Rosso Francia marble and steel rectangular Plec coffee table, designed by Antoni Palleja Office and expertly crafted in Spain exclusively by RS Barcelona.
The tabletop features Rosso Francia marble, also known historically as Rouge du Languedoc or Rouge Incarnat. An intense, deep brick-red background with striking, irregular white and grey calcitic veins and fossiliferous patches. Quarried primarily in the Languedoc region of southern France. This premium luxury natural stone has been heavily utilized since the 17th century throughout Europe, famously appearing in noble French palaces (such as Versailles) and cathedral interiors.
The Plec table features an eye-catching sculptural design; the rounded rectangular marble top and the accordion-shaped steel legs add exceptional visual appeal and create a dimensional structure that plays with a balance of light and shade effects.
This distinctive occasional table is versatile in its use and can be used both indoors and outdoors on the balcony, a poolside patio, or in the garden surrounded by plants and flowers.
The perfect addition to any living space, home office, lounge, reception, or lobby area, it will complement any classical, industrial, modern, minimal, or mid-century modern settings, offering elegance and function for decades to come.
