This striking cloisonné enamel jar features a classic "general's helmet" (jiangjun) form, with a domed lid topped by a pointed finial, a broad shoulder, and a tapering body that flares at the base. The rich brown ground is densely decorated with intricate gilt wirework, creating a continuous "hundred flowers" (baihua) pattern of scrolling blossoms and foliage that covers the entire surface. The piece is finished with polished gold-tone rims and sits on a carved dark wooden stand (included). The interior and the underside of the lid are finished in a deep, mottled blue enamel. The base bears a red "CHINA" export mark. A substantial and elegant accent piece for any display shelf or collection.
