Each … Read more This wall sculpture unfolds as a sinuous, horizontal chain of three large spirals, linked by crescent-shaped panels of mosaic. Each spiral is built from tightly coiled, fabric-wrapped cord in ivory, cream, dove gray, taupe, and black-and-white check, with occasional flashes of gold and a single touch of red. At the center of every coil sits a small medallion of tessellated tile, and the connecting wings and end pieces are set with irregular mosaic fragments in pearly, iridescent, and muted earth tones. The result is a rich play of soft textile and glittering tile.

Dramatic in scale yet quiet in palette, the piece makes a commanding focal point above a sofa, bed, sideboard, or console, or along an entry wall, stairwell, or hallway.
