As is typical with substantial Italian pottery of this vintage, there is minor, honest age-related wear. This includes a small, shallow chip and glaze flake on the lower right side hindquarter which exposes the red terracotta clay beneath. There is also a chip on the left canine tooth. While this tooth chip takes the point off and can technically be seen from the front if looking closely, it naturally blends into the mouth's interior shadows and does not stand out or distract when viewing the statue normally. The lion's fierce, majestic expression remains entirely intact and display ready. Please review all close-up photographs to appreciate the exact condition of this rare, large-scale piece. less
