A sweeping arc of bent cane rises from the base and is joined by two straight, angled poles, together cradling the shade in an asymmetrical, almost nautical gesture. The dome itself is formed of fiberglass with a pale, creamy tone and a feathery, fibrous texture, and it is crowned by a small horizontal rattan toggle. The base is a turned wooden disc with finely ribbed, tiered edges, whose rich warm grain contrasts with the honeyed glow of the cane.
