An impressive antique three-piece Neoclassical cast iron garden garniture, featuring a sculptural winged cherub accompanied by a pair of matching classical pedestal planters.

The central figure depicts a beautifully modeled winged cherub seated upon a naturalistic rocky base while holding a bouquet of flowers. Finely detailed feathered wings, facial features, flowing drapery and floral elements give the sculpture wonderful character and architectural presence.

Flanking the cherub is a matching pair of substantial cast iron planters, each featuring a deep circular bowl raised upon a molded pedestal and square plinth base. The three pieces share a dark aged finish with naturally occurring surface variation and patina that adds to their antique character.

One piece retains a cast foundry/manufacturer's mark and model number, although the mark has not been conclusively identified.

A wonderful decorative ensemble for a garden, conservatory, courtyard, entryway or interior architectural setting. The pieces can be displayed together as a traditional symmetrical garniture or individually throughout a space.
