Bring a touch of whimsical mid-century sophistication into your home with this striking vintage Italian ceramic monkey statue. Crafted in Italy during the height of the Hollywood Regency design era (circa 1950s–1960s), this stylized primate is depicted in deep, contemplative thought. He features a glossy, white-glazed body perched thoughtfully upon a vibrant chartreuse-yellow base, complemented by hand-painted yellow eyes and an expressive, soulful face that makes him an incredible standalone statement piece or shelf accent.
The bottom retains its iconic, highly sought-after mid-century paper export label, bordered in a blue geometric pattern and hand-marked with the vintage production codes "36/298" and “Italy”.
