A beautiful and substantial nine-piece decorative terracotta fruit centerpiece featuring eight individually formed pieces of fruit arranged in a large, shallow terracotta bowl with an attractive twisted rope-style rim.
The sculptural fruit features richly textured surfaces in muted olive green, golden ochre, earthy rust, and natural clay tones. Each piece has distinctive shaping and a beautifully weathered appearance, creating the character of an old-world Mediterranean or Tuscan still-life arrangement.
The bowl features a generously proportioned shallow form with a thick, twisted rope-style rim and a softly distressed reddish terracotta finish.
All nine pieces are made from heavy terracotta. Small holes visible in the individual fruit pieces appear consistent with the original manufacturing process.
This distinctive decorative ensemble would make a wonderful centerpiece for a dining table, kitchen island, farmhouse table, or rustic European-inspired interior.
