The elongated body is decorated with vertical optical ribs, and elongated pulled patterns that stretch upward through the glass, producing mesmerizing reflections and movement from every angle. Scattered throughout the surface are prominent applied thorn like protrusions that add texture and sculptural dimension.

The dramatic freeform rim, expertly worked into a flamboyant fazzoletto-style edge. The deeply undulating mouth rises and folds into a series of fluid petal-like crests and valleys, resembling a blooming flower.

The combination of the aquatic color palette, organic sculptural shaping, and expressive freeform rim gives the vase a distinctly Mid-Century Modern and Murano-inspired aesthetic.

An impressive statement piece, this vase works beautifully as a standalone work of glass art or as a display vessel for tall floral arrangements. Its blend of vibrant teal coloration, optical effects, and dramatic sculptural form makes it a standout addition to any collection of studio art glass. See less
