Brutalist wall or ceiling lamps from the Italian manufacturer Poliarte.
Imposing designs with atmospheric lighting effect. Decorative objects and functional light sources at the same time. A wrought iron frame serves as a support and background level. The front level is formed by a glass element. The different levels give depth to the luminaire. The added iron elements form the actual shape of the lamp with its irregular edges. The black surface has been patinated.
The striking element is the central rectangular glass diffuser on the front of the lamp. The clear glass has an openwork design with amber accents. The thick glass refracts and colors what emerges. These object lights create their effect when turned on as well as off.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
